NARS Spring 15 {Runway shows}

I was browsing the NARS.com website and found a section {SPRING 15} exploring all the looks created by NARS in the Spring 15 catwalk shows, with a small explanation about why and how the looks were developed. I found this very interesting to read not only dose it add a context to the makeup look it allows you to understand the makeup artists application technique and main aim with the look. I feel this will help me when looking towards my own looks for NARS campaigns as it will give me an understand how NARS products are used as a professional makeup brand but also how an individual artist can explore there own ideas through the makeup finalising into a look.

ERDEM SPRING 15 

Val Garland for NARS 

This look is fresh, youthful and a perfect look for spring, i feel the colours work perfectly together and the strongly pigmented shade of peach on the cheeks is the main focus of the look for me creating a simple but effective look.

The monochromatic element about this look is very effective the matt beige nude shade of the eye and lip work perfectly together, and although not a look you would instantly turn too in summer i like how versatile this look could be, from a wedding to every day and into night.

International Makup Artist for NARS Uzo 

This is my favourite look from NARS runway spring 15 shows, the pop of colour next to the dewy golden tones of the skin is a staple look for spring and summer yet the colour tone of the lip is a twist on the classic red bold lip. The orange is funky, fun and playful something thats perfectly relatable to the brand.

The NARS.com website also showed us there top trends from Spring 15 catwalk, further advertising products that could be used from there line to create these looks.

This has really helped me gain and idea about how the brand has used its products and created looks stylistic to themselves as a brand but exploring the designers themes within these looks. Within my final campaigns i think its important for me to be very aware of the Spring/Summer 15 trends as this will determine the market that the campaigns will be showing in.
